LIPOcel Body Sculpting uses High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver energy to precisely 1.3cm deep under the skin which destroys fat cells and tightens the skin – all without damaging skin tissues. The temperature on the LIPOcel hand-piece is raised to +70 degrees Celsius (the temperature needed to burn the subcutaneous fat). The cooling cartridge in the LIPOcel device is then set to 5 degrees Celsius – this temperature is ideal to increase the energy transfer of the ultrasound whilst ensuring the client feels comfortable throughout the treatment. When you begin your treatment, the provider will mark a treatment grid on the area that will be treated, lightly spray the area with water, and then proceed to systematically and evenly apply the LIPOcel hand-piece. The fat reduction procedure takes about 60 minutes (depending on the area of the body that is treated) and is completely pain free, thanks to the patented contact cooling cartridge used to cool down the skin during the process.
